Description
Excellent resistance to weathering and ozone, water and steam, with good performance in castor and some phosphate ester based fluids. It's low and high temperature capability is good, having excellent resistance to set with good resilience. Also high temperature braking systems employing castor based fluids for mouldings subjected to weathering and ozone and for seals in chemical plant due to its good chemical resistance.

EPDM is particularly useful when sealing phosphate-ester hydraulic fluids and in brake systems that use fluids having a glycol or silicone base.

This results in a highly fluorinated elastomeric compound with exceptional temperature resistance, compatibility with a wide range of aggressive chemical combinations and outstanding resistance to permanent deformation

 

Temperature Range
Up to 150°C (Intermittant)
Down to -45°C

Recommended temperature range -30°C to +125°C

 

Chemical resistance
Hot water and steam up to 149°C with special compounds up to 260°C
Glycol based brake fluids (Dot 3 & 4) and silicone-based brake fluids (Dot 5) up to 149°C
Many organic and inorganic acids
Cleaning agents, sodium and potassium alkalis
Phosphate-ester based hydraulic fluids (HFD-R)
Silicone oil and grease
Many polar solvents (alcohols, ketones, esters)
Ozone, aging and weather resistant

 

Not compatible with:
Mineral oil products (oils, greases and fuels)

 

• Full standard O-Ring series: AS 568, BS 4518, GB/T 3452.1, JIS B2401 P, JIS B2401 G, JIS B2401 S, JIS B2401 V, SMS 1586 , METRIC and JASO F404.

 

• Non-standard customize size:

Smallest 0.5 mm ID × 0.5 mm C/S.
Largest 10000 mm ID × 50mm C/S.
